An Arkéa Young Talents transmission objective

One of the missions that the ARKEA OMNIUM Organizing Committee has set itself is to promote the transmission of sporting values and, let's not mince words, the passion for golf to the younger generations. With this in mind, what could be better than allowing our young talents to rub shoulders with true champions and play a course prepared to the standard of professional tournaments?
The field of competitors at the ARKEA OMNIUM lends itself admirably to this, as it brings together both golf champions who have won at all latitudes during their careers and experienced instructors with a keen eye.
Thus, on June 28, 2025, during the second round of the ARKEA OMNIUM, a
Sixty young golfers aged 16 and under (U16), representing a dozen local clubs from the Pyrénées Atlantiques, Landes and Gipuzkoa will take part in the ARKEA JEUNE TALENTS Challenge, played in two parts.
Each club will designate a doubles team that will start on June 28th at 7:30 a.m., as the curtain raiser for the ARKEA OMNIUM.
Following the playing formulas of their elders, the first nine holes will be played greensome and the last nine four-ball.
In the early afternoon, four to six young competitors from each club will compete in a chipping and putting competition, followed by a Trackman competition. The performances of all competitors will be aggregated to establish the club rankings.
The winners of the ARKEA JEUNES TALENTS Challenge will be awarded prizes during the official awards ceremony which will take place at the end of the ARKEA OMNIUM.
A moment of exchange and sharing between our Young Talents and several ARKEA OMNIUM professionals will take place after the awards ceremony.
